Ekta Kapoor is an Indian television producer, film producer, and director who has gained significant recognition for her work in the Hindi film and television industry. On June 7, 1975, she was born in Bombay, Maharashtra. She finished primary school at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim West, Maharashtra. Following that, he earned a commerce degree from Mithibai College in Mumbai. Ekta began her career at the age of seventeen. As a newcomer, she was introduced to the ad and feature film director Kailash Surendranath.

She eventually became a financier under her own label, Balaji Telefilms, with the help of her father. Yet, she did not achieve success in the beginning, and roughly six of his trial initiatives were flops, resulting in a loss of about fifty lakhs.
